fix to my no-launching...

mamas and the boys non-updated versions still working fine.. but mine updated automatically putting me out of commission

soooooooo... I went back to Steam and downloaded the 8186 beta thus by-passing the new release problem.

it immediately launches, but after two days of valiant effort I never connect.. only time out..

I am running Windows 10 and worked flawlessly for 2 months before the flawed update

any suggestions?

Sorry if this is asking the obvious that you already tried.

Is it just timing out or are you getting an error message? (After the windows update in May, I was getting a popup that said I had a fatal exception when I tried to run NWNEE - turned out it was because I had my display running through a USB port via HDMI, and there was something about the driver for the USB port that NWN didn't like. Plugged the monitor directly into my laptop and problem resolved)

Did you delete EVERYTHING before reinstalling? Including the Neverwinter folder in My PC->Documents?

Are you running as admin?

Are you sure you're using the same login name?

Did you reach out to Beamdog support? they were really responsive for me.

a box pops up and says.. sever found attempting to log in
connection error server is not responding (timed.. out)

I think all the under wear is correct cuz the game run flawlessly for 2 mounts

yes running as admin, deleted all including the gog version...
don't get to a log in screen...
